Quite and spectacular location, pitty no bar but then it is quite small place. Local restaurants good, cafe and shop in town good and welcoming. Good facilities for more action in nearby Laredo, no gun fights!!
The swimming pools needs to be repaired to be fully appreciated.

The owner was friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet location with scenic walks on the door step. Nearby Laredo has a long sandy beach but the resort is not very appealing due to the lack of character caused by the 70's style concrete buildings. The hotel is perfect for both Santander and Bilbao with both being around 30 mins drive away.

Location was great. Hotel was good to look at. Sea and mountains were beautiful. Monsoon shower was great! The owner was helpful and friendly.
The cleanliness was not first class. Our bedspread was dirty. We took it off and replaced it with another cover which we had asked for. The next night the dirty cover had been put back on the beds. The breakfasts were awful. The croissants were from a supermarket packet, the bread was industrial sliced, in fact all the breads and pastries offered were poor quality from a packet. Tea and coffee were cool, not hot. Only one bedside lamp and one tiny shelf in the bathroom big enough for almost nothing. For the next question I should like people to make up their own mind. I shall reply NO, BUT and it is a big but the hotel is superbly situated and the owner was amiable and helpful. He needs to clean it up somewhat.

Good location, beautiful house, and friendly owner/manager. Our room had a lovely view over the Liendo valley, and the price was reasonable. It's even accessible via public transportation (bus from Santander or Laredo), though it's much easier if one has a car.
The breakfast was very simple (juice, coffee, tea, and a selection of bread/toast), which was a bit disappointing, though perhaps that's typical.
